There are 12,500 tiny pieces in one standard 5 feet by 7 feet Viva Ultra Modern rug. Each small fabric swatch is hand cut and sewn onto strips that are bound together then backed with a durable, non-slip, 100% washable action backing.  We chose this colorfast and stain-resistant fabric because of its softness and durability.
